All research rooms will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, November 27. Washington, DC-area research rooms will close at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, November 26. Contact the location you wish to visit for any schedule changes due to the holiday. All locations will be open on Friday, November 28.

Records Temporarily Unavailable

Attention Researchers:
Some of the RG 110 (Civil War) records are being relocated from the National Archives Building in Washington, DC, to NARA's regional locations beginning August 11, 2008. The records will temporarily be unavailable during the move, but will reopen for public access at the regional locations on December 8, 2008.
